The ZTE Hawkeye will sport a 5.5-inch display and the company is also mentioning the self-adhesive hands-free case in their press release. But aren’t saying whether such a case will ship with the device or not. We also don’t know what resolution to expect here, as the company just mentioned the size of Hawkeye’s display. The new ZTE Hawkeye will be fueled by the Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core processor, also 3,000mAh battery will be a part of this package as well. Speaking of which, this device will ship with a Type-C USB port. And you will also get Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging tech here.
According to ZTE’s press release, this device will sport a dual camera setup on the back, you can expect to see 12MP and 13MP snappers on back, and both of them will sport OIS. Now, interestingly enough, ZTE had already released a render of this smartphone, and that phone sports only one camera on back. The company has also attached a render of the device to their press release. And that smartphone also sports a single rear-facing camera, so, that is a bit confusing, to say the least. In any case, we have reached out to ZTE and are waiting for the company’s response.
The phone will also ship with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, as well as Hi-Fi sound will also be included in the package. The smartphone can be funded on Kickstarter for $199 (limited time offer), just in case you are interested.
