LG plans to unveil LG V20 smartphone will feature premium sound system co-developed with B&O PLAY. It said the companies worked together to optimize the audio capabilities of the device, with acoustic engineers collaborating “to achieve B&O Play’s philosophy of delivering a balanced and natural sound in a portable package”. The smartphone will ship with “a special pair of B&O Play earphones” and wallpapers.
B&O PLAY is a premium audio company making portable headphones and audio products, firmly grounded in 90 years of audio and design excellence, craftsmanship and product innovation from Bang & Olufsen.
LG V20 Earphones:
It will also offer new and sleek earphones that it developed together with B&O PLAY to deliver the excellent sound experience to its new smartphone users.
LG V20 Features:
One of the most interesting things we know about the new V20 is that it will be the first phone to launch with the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. LG has also confirmed that it will be the world’s first phone with 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC for best-in-class audio, and it will ship along with B&O Play earphones in the box.
The device will be the second member of the LG V-series which came to last year with the release of the V10 which received rave reviews across the globe.
LG V20 Price:
It’s difficult to speculate on the LG V20’s price when the LG V10 never officially came to the UK, but the LG V10 in the US cost $700. This put it directly in line with other flagships, so in UK it likely would have met a circa-£600 price point. The aforementioned Reddit user suggests the LG V20 will go on sale at $650, so in UK we could see a lower price point of £500- to £550.
